Want to know a little bit more about Wedding Dress for Less? This site came about because my mum had stored my sisters' wedding dresses for many years. I was going to list them on Trade Me for her, but after looking at what is available on there, and how people display their dresses, I thought to myself - I can do better.

After a bit of research I saw there aren't many NZ based, online secondhand wedding dress sites (not counting Trade Me or Facebook Marketplace). I realised I could put together a site that would highlight beautiful dresses which have been hiding away in storage, and give them a chance to shine again.  I think sustainability is very important and I strive to be as eco-friendly as I can.  I'm also very aware of how expensive weddings can be and really want to give budget conscious brides a chance to find their dream dress, for less!

I try to be very selective about the dresses I add on here, covering a range of sizes and styles, while keeping the quality high.  Most of these dresses have only been worn once (some not at all!) and are still in excellent condition.  I, or my mum (thanks mum!), do any minor fixes needed and spot clean where required.  I will not get the dresses dry cleaned but in some cases it has already been done before they went into storage.  

The descriptions will give honest feedback about the condition of the dress and any visible marks etc.  I will add pictures of any marks or issues that are particularly visible so you can get a true idea of what you will be receiving. In most cases these are hard to see in the photos and are really only noticeable because I spend a lot of time going over the dresses to try and catch any issues.  I'm confident wedding guests won't notice them and they won't be visible in any wedding photos.

Wedding dress sizing can be a bit strange so I will include the label size and also the measurements of the mannequin while wearing the dress for photos.  If you see a dress you are interested in and want me to match the mannequin to your measurements to see how it looks just get in contact.
