Can I try on a dress?
Sure! If you can get to us in Auckland, and want to try a dress on, get in touch using the Contact page and we will sort out a time.  Try ons will be in a low-key home environment, based on the North Shore. You are more than welcome to bring your 'bride squad' so they can help you decide.

I'm not sure if the dress will fit, can I return it if it doesn't?
We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about the purchase or if the dress does not fit, so please choose carefully and check your measurements against those provided. If you aren't sure on the size, we are happy to match the mannequin as closely to your measurements as we can, then provide pictures of the dress to show you how it fits.  Simply let us know your measurements, which dress, and the best email address to send pictures to.

If the goods are faulty, or you feel we have misrepresented the condition, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act. 

Are the dresses dry cleaned?
We will not get the dresses dry cleaned, in some cases they were done before going into storage and then making their way to this site.  We will spot clean where necessary but you may wish to get it cleaned after receiving it. We closely examine  the dresses and will make every effort to accurately describe the condition and highlight any defects within the product description. 

Are you negotiable on the price?
We have set the price to fairly reflect on the condition of the dress.  Feel free to make an offer, but don't be offended if it is turned down.

I want one of your dresses, how do I buy it?
Excellent, add it to your cart and go from there! Payment is via bank deposit, details will be sent to you once your order is processed.

How much is shipping?
To cover the packaging and the courier we charge a standard fee depending on where you are located:

Auckland - $20
North Island - $25
South Island - $35
Rural addresses will be an extra $5.

As some dresses and accessories are smaller they will have a Small Bag Courier rate of:

Auckland - $12
North Island - $20
South Island - $25
Rural addresses will be an extra $5.

There may be a higher freight charge on the more bulky dresses.  If shipping ends up costing less than expected we will be in contact to arrange a partial refund.

Wedding dresses tend to be bulky, so sending them without crushing them isn't cheap.   As a standard option we will send them in R3 Pack recycled plastic bags (yay eco-friendly options!) to protect them from the weather and wrap them in tissue.  If the dress comes with a dry cleaning/dress bag we will pack the dress inside this; this will be specified on the product page. 

Pick up from Greenhithe on the North Shore is also an option.

Would you buy my dress?
If you are looking to sell your dress you are welcome to get in touch and let us know the details (size, condition, photos etc) but please be aware that we sell dresses at a maximum of $500, and we still need to make a little profit within that and also cover costs.   

If you are wanting to sell your dress for $400 or more we suggest looking into StillWhite, Trade Me, Designer Wardrobe or other pre-loved wedding dress shops that may have more space and flexibility on price (like Olivia Rose Bridal).
